RISC OS Squeak

This page contains dowloads and information for the RISC OS Squeak virtual machine. It runs only on RISC OS machines, with an accent on the Raspberry Pi version that you can find available on the RISC OS Open site.

Downloads

The two currently practical releases are Squeak 4.0 and Squeak 4.4; the latter is the latest release and has some features that rather stretch the capabilities of a Raspberry Pi. I recommend the 4.0 release for now for experimenting and learning.

Squeak RISC OS 4.4.zip (updated for ~2018 RISC OS).

Scratch support is being worked on but is not yet really complete.
